Body Painting is so much fun! I just love the challenge of creating an image using a 3 dimensional canvas. Especially one that moves! You have to think from all dimensions. Pictured on this page are some photos from a body paint I recently did. Our local arts communities came together and using the theme Kaleidescope they held an evening filled with wonderful artistic and creative experiences. This was my contribution. I would like to thank Abby, my model, who was still for 4-1/2 hours while I painted her!

TUX

The tuxedo was done at Ringling School or Art and Design in cooperation with a photography student there.

The mountie was done at the FABAIC along with my good friend Katie Hunt. We had so much fun doing this paint. Our model, Caleb, was adorable and really enjoyed his moments of fame.

cirque

At the FABAIC I did a body paint with a circus theme since my model is a circus performer. She helped me in the selection of colors. It was her idea for the little hat. I love it when we can work together like this!
